There has been significant positive progress with the pump station works and we are now in the final stages before commissioning in the coming weeks. All structural works are now complete, and the soundproof panelling is now in place. Each of the pumps have been run individually up to capacity and are functioning as expected. Due to the relining works commencing, it was decided that full commissioning and handover of the pump station will be completed in late June.
This project has provided many challenges. We are very thankful to our main contractors, Verntec Consulting, Crighton’s Engineering, Fluid Engineering and I2R for the experience and professionalism they have shown in getting this project through to where we are now.
We look forward to the capacity improvements and efficiencies this new infrastructure will provide to Theodore Water and our customers.
